Meet Carol Duncan Breitag: A Pioneer in Beauty and Wellness
Carol Duncan Breitag is a true luminary in the world of aesthetics, a Master Esthetician and the proud Owner of Duncan Noble Salon & Spa. Her impressive career spans decades, marked by a relentless pursuit of knowledge and a passion for elevating the beauty industry.
Carol’s formal education in Skin/Aesthetics began at Ogle School in Arlington, TX, where she graduated in 1986. Her expertise quickly expanded into Cosmetology, earning her license from Vogue in 1989, followed by her Cosmetology Instructor certification in the same year. By 1995, she was providing education to other instructors, solidifying her reputation as a leader in the field. To date, Carol boasts over 80 certificates in post-graduate education, a testament to her unwavering commitment to staying at the forefront of beauty innovation. She was even trained by the renowned Linda Chae of Chae-Maggio Cosmetics in 1978.
Beyond her hands-on practice, Carol has significantly impacted the industry as an educational and training representative for full-service salons. From 1978 to 1980, she served as a Paul Mitchell N.W. Rep & Trainer, educating over 18 skin/salons. She also contributed as an educator for Linda Chae in Spokane, WA during the same period. In 1988, Carol was instrumental at Vogue, where she hired, wrote, traveled, and trained employees in “Success Image Communication” and “Success Image,” a program she authored herself. She personally certified staff in color, line, body language, and make-overs. Her diverse experience also includes working, educating, and traveling for iconic brands like Estee Lauder, Elizabeth Arden, Maybelline, and Clinique in Boise, ID, and Spokane, WA from 1980 to 1983.
In 1990, Carol realized a lifelong dream by opening Duncan Noble Spa, which has thrived under her guidance to the present day. Her influence even extended to the pageant world, as she was the Mrs. N.M. Pageant Owner from 1993 to 1999. Carol Duncan Breitag’s profound knowledge, pioneering spirit, and dedication have shaped the beauty and wellness landscape, making Duncan Noble Salon & Spa a cherished institution built on a legacy of excellence.

Meet Kaja Beth Duncan: A Legacy of Healing and Radiance
Kaja Beth Duncan, RN, CME, ME, is the heart and soul behind DN Skin, carrying forward a three-generation legacy of wellness and beauty in Las Cruces. Her journey in the world of skincare and healing began in November 1997, when she graduated from the Ogle School of Skin & Hair in Arlington, TX. Just one month later, in December 1997, Kaja passionately opened Duncan Noble Spa, laying the foundation for what would evolve into DN Skin.
Kaja’s commitment to health and serving others deepened in 2006 when she graduated from NMSU with her RN degree and became a licensed Registered Nurse. For 15 years, from 2006 to 2021, she dedicated herself to working as an ER RN, even serving in the ICU during the challenging COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout this demanding period, Kaja seamlessly continued to operate and nurture her day and wellness spa, a testament to her unwavering dedication.
Her pursuit of comprehensive well-being led her to expand her expertise in aesthetics. In 2010, Kaja obtained her certification for Botox and Juvéderm injections with Aesthetic Medical Educators Training in Scottsdale, AZ. Always eager to explore holistic paths to health, she furthered her knowledge by attending a correspondence program at the Ayurvedic Institute with Vasant Lad in Albuquerque in 2011, and also delved into studies in nutrition and personal training. This holistic perspective culminated in her opening, owning, and operating Jivana Nutrition IV-Drip Spa from 2017 to 2021.
Kaja’s personal journey is one of incredible resilience and strength; she has bravely survived breast cancer three times since 2011. This profound experience has only deepened her empathetic approach to healing and care. Kaja Beth Duncan truly believes she is on this planet to be a light, to heal, care for, and serve others, guiding each client toward their own path of radiant skin and holistic wellness.

Meet Kali-Miya Duncan: The Third Generation of Radiance at DN Skin
Kali-Miya Duncan proudly represents the third generation of dedicated skincare professionals at DN Skin, continuing a cherished family legacy in Las Cruces. Her passion for esthetics blossomed early, leading her to graduate from esthetic school right here in Las Cruces, NM, in 2018.
Immediately following her graduation, Kali-Miya joined the DN Skin team, immersing herself in the family business. The year 2019 was particularly formative as she underwent intensive training directly under the guidance of her grandmother, the esteemed Master Esthetician Carol Duncan Breitag. This invaluable mentorship provided Kali-Miya with a deep understanding of advanced techniques and the holistic philosophy that defines DN Skin.
Her commitment to expanding her expertise has taken her beyond Las Cruces, traveling to Ruidoso, Roswell, and Carlsbad to practice and share her skincare knowledge. Always seeking comprehensive approaches to wellness, Kali-Miya has also delved into the study of homeopathy and received specialized training with Eminence Organics, known for its commitment to natural and effective skincare solutions.
Kali-Miya is here to spread her knowledge and tranquility, dedicated to helping each client discover their natural radiance and find peace through personalized skincare experiences. She embodies the evolving expertise and timeless dedication that makes DN Skin a true cornerstone of beauty and wellness in the community.
